The 9 Roots of Effective Leaders seems like common sense and yet sadly, they’re not commonly practiced. Designed by Newleaf Training and Development after 17 years of serving nearly 300 clients across 28 states and around the world. the first four roots are based upon the principle of managing self being: (1) self-control, (2) solution-minded, (3) focused, and (4) balanced. The second set of roots are based upon the principle of influencing others: (5) service to others (6) believe in others (7) kindness to others and (8) celebrating the success of others. The ninth root, (humility) health sustain level of leadership effectiveness over time.
